Fabulous Friday

Fabulous Reads!

  • The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

I've read this book three or four times now. It's fantastic. A German girl during WW2 whose family hides a Jew in their basement. Sooo crazy good. Read it! It's more than just a book about the holocaust, I promise you.

  • A Song For Summer by Eva Ibbotson

Easily the best romance book ever. I've read it twice. You'll love it, and you'll love the characters. Eva Ibbotson is totally ingenius and one can simply not get enough of her novels.

  • The Secret Under My Skin by Janet McNaughton

Janet McNaughton is also an extraordinary writer, and this book is utterly marvelous. Sci-fi, but more than that. Read it - I dare you.

  • Hacking Harvard by Robin Wasserman

A fun read, however unrealistic. Robin Wasserman is a truly fantastic author, but this is the first book of hers I read that hasn't been in the sci-fi genre. And it rocked! The title says it all...

  • The Year Of Secret Assignments by Jaclyn Moriarty

Much like her Feeling Sorry For Celia, this novel of Jaclyn Moriarty is in letter format. Funny, and with romance. I finished it in maybe two days. You won't be able to get enough of it!

Labour Day = No More Summer Vacay

:-(

Summer is departing. School starts back up tomorrow. Soon the weather will be cold and, while I do miss my jeans, I think I'll miss not freezing my ass off even more.

To top it all off, I forgot to do a Fabulous Friday yesterday, but mostly just 'cause I was at the cottage and didn't get back until late last night and all I wanted to do was watch A&E's CriMi marathon.

*sigh*

Top Ten Missable Summer Holiday Things

(In No Particular Order)

  • It doesn't get dark until around eight at night.

  • It's so lovely and warm outside.

  • You can have pool parties with your friends.

  • No school.

  • Summer clothes are cute.

  • You can stay outside without getting hypothermia.

  • You can go out of town and not worry about the hundred-million projects and tests that will be waiting for you when you return.

  • You can stay up late, late, late.

  • You can sleep in late, late, late.

  • You have a chance to do all that stuff you wanted to do during the year but had no time for.

What will YOU miss most about summer?

Love, love. Love is all you need...

Yes, it's a Beatles song. It's an amazing song, and The Beatles are amazing too, and we all know it!

But, I am talking about Criminal Minds. And my love for it. And the amazing blog ~ www.criminalmindsfanatic.blogspot.com ~ that started me writing this blog. And their auction. And how much I want that signed script, 'cause I want to be a writer/filmmaker and oh my gosh, how I love Matthew Gray Gubler! (And worship AJ Cook and Kirsten Vangsness, and just adore the show and watch it whenever possible and am working on owning DVDs and searching vainly for posters.)

This is my rant about wanting the signed script and loving the show, although I won't get the signed script 'cause eBay is too confusing and...yeah...not enough money. *droops head*

Of course, nobody reads this thing, so it's just me complaining to myself. Which is pathetic. Which is why I'm also complaining to Brianna. :) Love ya Bri...

And love CriMi!

They Could Be Twins! (Giggle-Worthy)

One is a much-loved character from a clasic novel, the other is a pop ("rock", but let's be honest here) star that makes tweens swoon. So, in honour of Mr. Kevin Jonas's recent engagement to long-time girlfriend Danielle, let's have a just-for-fun version of TCBT!. Because really, who can overlook those sideburns?

Introducing the eldest of the JoBros twin...Mr. Tumnus, from none other than Narnia (The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe to be more exact)! While played by the utterly good looking James McAvoy (who, I assure you, deserves a spot in Name That Hottie!), Mr. Tumnus is the half-human half-goat that Lucy runs into when first entering Narnia. Please turn your attention to the right.

Next, Kevin Jonas. I'm not saying you have to know each one by name (Nick is pretty stand-alone, but I always get Kevin and Joe confused) but due to Marissa's fascination with the group, I do happen to know their names. I, however, cannot tell you whether Kevin plays guitar or sings lead. Nor can I tell you whether it was he or Joe who played Demi Lavato's love interest in the Disney film Camp Rock. But this is he!

Ha ha. You can see it, can't you?
No disrespect meant! Congrats, Kevin! And James McAvoy, you're amazing!

They Could Be Twins!

One sings, the other tatoos on a reality TV show. Yet I can't help but see the resemblance between Kat Von D and Suzie McNeil.

First up, Kat. She's on Miami Ink (which shows on TLC),
and is tattoed like crazy. She also has her own makeup line. I don't know what else to say, really. There used to be other Inks like LA and New York, but I'm pretty sure Kat's is the only one left. Obviously, she's a hit!
This is Kat ----> -----> ---->

Then you have Suzie. I think she was discovered on Canadian Idols or one of those shows, but maybe I'm just going nuts. I'm almost %100 sure she's Canadian, though. She can join the Fabulous list! Anyway, Suzie is known for songs such as Believe, Hung Up, and Broken And Beautiful. She's actually pretty good.

Mais Oui? Identical?

One has blonde hair with dark bits, the other dark hair with black bits. Heavy makeup, numerous tatoos, and they're even in almost identical poses!

Fabulous Friday!

Fabulous websites!

  • Google

It's endlessly entertaining. You can find whatever you want, learn whatever you want. If I'm bored, I type in a word and hit search and see what comes up. Even "I'm bored" gets you a list of enjoyable sites.

www.google.ca

  • Wikipedia

Just like Google, it's amazing in what it can drag up. From TV shows to bands to countries to products, I can get the 411 on absolutely anything I want. Of course you can edit things, but maybe that's the fun of it. You can trust everything you read on Wiki, but isn't that a given?

www.wikipedia.org

  • Internet Movie Database
TV shows, actors, movies. Who plays so-and-so in that film? Type in the movie and find out. Why did whats-her-face leave that TV show? Type in their name and learn. It's great fun. You can even figure out how tall an actor is. Again, not the most reliable source of information, but still good enough.

www.imdb.org

  • Yahoo

Got a question? Ask it. Bored? Answer someone else's. You can also get your horoscope, read up on the latest news, and set up an email account. PLUS you can design this little avatar character with all these neato outfits and hair styles.

www.yahoo.ca

  • Youtube

Is this not self-explanatory? You can listen to music, and watch videos, and watch interviews with celebrities, and watch fan-made trailers for books that are not yet movies, et cetera, et cetera.

www.youtube.ca

Until my next post, I remain,

They Could Be Twins!

One's a singer, the other acts. But it's undeniable that Nelly Furtado and Courteney Cox Arquette look a lot alike!

First, Courteney. Every knows her because for years she was Monica Geller on Friends. She's married to David Arquette and has a daughter named Coco. Of course
she's been in quite a lot else, but nothing I feel inclined to list, so check IMDB if you must know.

Next, Nelly. A Canadian singer who once upon a time was only known for hits such as "I'm Like a Bird", she's now a big pop-star mostly due to her songs "Maneater" and "Promiscuous". She's even put in an appearance on CSI:NY (which is when I came up with this twin theory, because it took me five minutes to decide whether it was her or Courteney.)

So? Are they twins or what?

They're both very skinny, with dark hair and blue eyes. Perhaps the pictures above don't do their twin-ness justice, but if you watch an espisode of Friends and then the episode where Nelly's in CSI:NY, I swear to god....

Fabulous Friday! (A day late)

Fabulous Shows!

Not very original, but bare with me. :)
~ Also, this is my opinion, people, not fact.

  • Criminal Minds

It's the best show EVER! Incredibly well thought-out, and not totally gruesome. A few episodes are bound to induce nightmares, but that's just the fun of it. You have the braniac, Spencer Reid, and two gorgeous gals out there, JJ and Prentiss, plus super-serious Rossi and Hotch...and Garcia and Morgan, of course, who are tons of fun. CriMi is not your average cop show. There's thinking involved, and a healthy dose of both humour and lightheartedness (thanks to amazing techy Garcia) that makes you welcome the show instead of cringe away from it.

Wednesdays @ 9 on CBS (season premier Sept. 23)

  • CSI:NY

Forget about Grissom and Horatio for a moment (did I get the right people there? I hope so. I don't watch CSI ever and CSI:Miami rarely, and can't say I'm very factual when it comes to them) and welcome in Mac Taylor and the rest of his a-mazing team. Danny and Lindsey, the lovebirds; Adam, the quirky guy; Flack, the oh-so-attractive and humorous cop; Stella, the intelligent and beautiful sidekick to Mac; Sid, the autopsy guy with a plethora of useless information; and Hawkes, the one that's always there. These great CSI-ers put all the others to shame.

Wednesdays @ 10 on CBS (season premier Sept. 23)

  • Bones

Everyone knows Bones! Personally, it's not the best best BEST, because sometimes Brennan and Booth's whole lovey thing can get tiresome, especially when the two I really like together are no longer together, Hodgins and Angela. You may be wondering why I'm going on about romance when this is more or less a crime show...but that's just it! All the same, the unusual crimes and the whole new take on it (bones!) makes me tune in.

Thursdays @ 7 on FOX (season premier Sept. 17)

  • Friends

Everyone loves Friends! If you don't love Friends, something's wrong with you. Seriously. You sit down in front of that television and watch an epsiode and tell me it doesn't make you laugh. And when it does make you laugh, tell me you don't like it. Please. You CAN'T! Like I said, everyone loves Friends. It's over now, of course, after 10 seasons, but you can catch reruns on W and Omni and Peachtree TV, or you can rent them (TV on DVD = the best!)

  • Two And A Half Men

Ok, so the jokes are pretty much one sex thing after another. Who cares? It's funny. Funny equal happy. Happy equals...well, whatever, it's a good show, ok? Certainly not one little kids should watch, but I doubt they'd catch the jokes anyway. So tune in and laugh! Once everyone's past the age of twelve, it's really something the whole family can enjoy.

Mondays @ 9 on CBS (season premier Sept. 21)

WELL those are really the only shows I watch...and I know that's totally lame, but whatever, five shows with up to five seasons each will keep you busy. And, they're fabulous, remember?!

Until next time,

Nichöle Jude

They Could Be Twins!

The characters they portray on screen are very different from one another, but in real life, Jessica Szohr and Vanessa Hudgens look so very much alike, we're thinking they could be twins!

First up, Jessica. She plays (ironically enough) Vanessa on Gossip Girl, which you can see every Monday at nine on The CW, apparently, in the States...but I just catch the reruns on Much. Jessica is dating co-star Ed Westwick, who acts as Chuck.

Then, you have Vanessa. She's known for Gabriella, the braniac/singer from none other than High School Musical 1, 2, and 3. Just like Jessica, she's dating her co-star, Zac Efron, who filled the role of Troy (Gabriella's boyfriend).

Look Alikes!

Dark hair, tan skin, similar noses, eyes, and smiles. They're even both wearing white tops! (Ah, Google Images, how helpful you are!) But would Jessica WANT to be compared to a Disney star? Then again, Vanessa did have to deal with that whole nude photo scandal...

Name That Hottie!

Today's hottie is...

Jim Sturgess!

Jim has been in what is quite easily the best movie ever - Across The Universe! He was Jude, the incredibly-cute Englishman who came over to America in search of his father and instead found love in the form of Lucy. Sounds cheesy, but the movie is really about the Vietnam war, while singing Beatles music. Ok, still sounds cheesy, but it's actually a fantastic film.

Jim was also in The Other Boleyn Girl and 21, both ok movies. Of course, he's been in much more, but nothing more that I've seen. Check him out on IMDB!

(IMDB, in case something's wrong with you and you don't know, is Internet Movie Database. It's third only to Google and Wikipedia on my Most Amazing Websites EVER list. On it, you can check out movies and TV shows and everyone who acts in them.)

We love you Jim Sturgess... <3

Fabulous Friday!

This Friday, the topic is Fabulous Sounds!

So what's the best music out there? At the moment, I have to say it's...

  • G-Get Up And Dance by Faber Drive

This song is upbeat and catchy. True, the lyrics are repetitive and not altogether creative, but it's a fun song to dance along to whether with your friends or on your own.

  • Last Name by Carrie Underwood

A fun, lighthearted song sung by someone who, for once, actually can sing.

  • Don't Wanna by I Nine

A little-known song, but certainly not bad. It's great when you're fed up and just want to start over. That's what this song is all about.

  • The Middle by Jimmy Eat World

Just one of those songs that pick you up when you're feeling bad. Everyone should know it, and love it.

  • Crushcrushcrush by Paramore

  • Born For This by Paramore

Both songs are great, as they come from a great band. With a strong beat and lyrics you can relate to, they're fantastic songs despite not being the band's most popular.

  • Check Yes Juliet by We The Kings

  • The Fear and Smile by Lily Allen

  • Welcome To The Black Parade by My Chemical Romance

  • Why Can't I by Liz Phair

Other amazing artists are The Beatles, The Fray, The Killers, Pink, and (you'll hate me for this one, but it's true) Taylor Swift. They have so many terrific songs that choosing just one or two to post on here would be impossible!

Check them all out on YouTube! And download them! (From iTunes if you're a good person, from Limewire if, like me, you're not.)

Boredom Sucks

You know you're bored when...

You google "google",

You watch ten full discs of Friends in less than a week,

You're anxiously awaiting your chance to go to the library,

You're so desperate to do something that you're willing to admit all this on a blog.

Name That Hottie!

Today's hottie is...

Matthew Grey Gubler!

Matthew plays my favourite character on Criminal Minds, the incredibly genius and socially awkward Dr. Spencer Reid! He's also in 500 Days of Summer and Alvin and The Chipmunks, voicing Simon.
Recently on Criminal Minds, Jackson Rathbone (Twilight's Jasper) guest-starred. Jackson and Matthew could have quite easily been in my They Could Be Twins! segment.
Matthew is also a director. He directed The Killers' "Don't Shoot Me Santa" music video, as well as his Unathorized Documentaries, which can be viewed on YouTube. Formerly, he was also a model.
Perhaps Matthew is more cute than hot...but either way, we love him!
Nichöle Jude

I wish we had a...

Today I woke up incredibly late and so enjoyed a peach on my balcolny with my dog and cats at a time when most people would have finished lunch two hours before.

While doing so, I flipped through a copy of Seventeen magazine and mourned the fact that America has amazingly cool clothing stores while Canada is left hanging. Think about it. Eventually, any awesome store we have ends up in the US of A. But do we have all the American stores over here? No!

There's no Target or JCPenny (which may not seem like much of a loss, but it counts). DKNY Jeans and Forever 21 are present, but not widespread, and finding such stores can be quite a trick. Plus, no Macy's. We get the commercials for Macy's...but we don't actually have Macy's!

Furthermore, most good magazines (by which I mean, pretty much all of them except for Hello!) are American and the cool contests they host are not open to Canadians. A total thumbs-down. If we're going to be reading them and buying them, you'd think the magazines could at least let us Canucks win something once in a while!

(We're also not allowed to vote in American Idol. Yes, we do have our own Idol, but it's no big secret that no one watches it!)

So, here's to wishing for American stores and the option to be in contests!

(But we'll keep our healthcare system and our Canadian citizenships, thanks.)

The End Of The Day

I'm back from Brianna's house!

We spent the day reading copies of Cosmo and Seventeen.

Rogen has also gone home (and taken her amazing Converse with her...sad).

What's happened today?

Two more soldiers came home today, and my mother went to watch on the bridge over the Highway of Heroes (aka the 401).

The garbage strike is over! For those of us living in Toronto the 30 + days of the city strike (meaning no public pools, community centres, camps, or ferry rides to Centre Island) have been excruciating...but perhaps the worst of all was the garbage pickup (or rather, lack of it) and the god-awful smell it brought with it.

Whoo-hoo! The strike's over! :)

Nichöle Jude

What's With The Umlaut?

My name sounds normal but doesn't look it.

It's very simply pronounced just like Nicole; nik-ole. However the weird ö and the h often throw people off.

So what are those two dots doing above the o?

They're called an umlaut. Wikipedia, the ever-handy and yet not-so-reliable web encyclopedia (you can edit what's on there!) has a whole big speil on it. Click the link to go: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Umlaut_(diacritic)#Use_of_the_umlaut_for_special_effect

All the same, what the umlaut does for my name is simply make the h sound go away. Also, it's there for decoration. Nichöle is not a traditional spelling.

Now how do I get those two dots when I'm doing school reports and such?

ctrl+shift+:(letter)

Well, Marissa just came through the door with one of her friends (Rogen, a pretty girl with colour in her hair and Converse on her feet, a childhood friend that isn't part of Marissa's popular crowd and who I actually like) so I shall be going. Luckily for me, I'm going out today with Brianna, one of my best-friends.

So, until I return (or get bored),

Nichöle Jude

Sisters Are The Worst Invention...Ever

Perhaps I'll feel different when I'm older but for the time being I cannot stand my little sister.

Skinny, sluttly, bitchy, and bratty, my sister, whom I shall refer to as Marissa, makes my life hell.

Take today, for example. In a pair of short short shorts (if you can imagine) which are denim and from Garage, a tight Aeropostale shirt (second only to the tight Abercrombie shirt) and a look of pure "popular" crowd snootiness on her face, she thrust my sunglasses at my and then slammed our front door, narrowly missing my curious dog's face.

Marissa has already proclaimed her hate for me three times this week. Ask Marissa and you'll find that I'm the worst older sister EVER. Does she not know of Mary Tudor, who locked her own sister, the future Queen Elizabeth 1, in that wretched tower and burned others at the stake? Or Cleopatra, who may or may not have had her brother(s) killed? Apparently, this is irrelevent to Marissa.

As long as I stick to my Wal-Mart Beatles tops, boyfriendless and with a taste in music other than pop, I am a waste of life.

I can accept this.

But Marissa still bugs the hell out of me!

Reasons?

  • She flounces around in her extremely short shorts and skirts, looking like a total slut.
  • She thinks she's super-cool and amazing and that the world revolves around her.
  • She has awful traitorous friends that she puts on a pedestel and then moans when they ditch her.
  • She doesn't get anything and acts like she does (Two and a Half Men? Friends? Those jokes, obvious as they are, go right over her head)
  • She copies all my lines and denies it, manipulates things to make it look like I did it when it was her, couldn't care less about our dog but says it only responds to HER and that SHE raises it. (Liar!)
  • Is a total Jonas Brother-worshipping, Hannah Montanna-loving, she-devil.

Do you have a sister like Marissa?

I'd love to know!

Nichöle Jude

They Could Be Twins!

Disney stars are pretty much all the same, from their acting to their singing to their, er, "professionalism". But now they have something else in common - looks!

Tiffany Thornton is new to the Disney scene. She stars with Demi Lavato in the self-proclaimed "comedy show about a comedy show" Sonny With a Chance. TT plays Tawny, an extremely annoying and self-centered starlet.

Next we have Chelsea Staub, also new to the Disney scene in the ever-so-cleverly titled JONAS. She stars alongside, you guessed it - the Jonas Brothers! Chelsea acts as Stella, longtime family friend.

But appart from their actual unability to act, their Disney contracts, and their desire for fame, what do these two have in common?

Their looks!

Blonde, bigger-boned then most Disney girls (Selena Gomez, that skinny bitch), arched eyebrows and the same kind of smiles make them twins.

Easy At Home Beauty Tips

If there's one thing I'm always searching for it's beauty tips.

How to cover zits, lose weight, make my eyes stand out....

So here are some of my mediocre at-home beauty tips!

  • Vanilla Extract on zits

This makes them lose their whiteheads and go away faster. Dab some on before you go to bed and wash it off in the morning.

  • Vaseline on your lips

Use on it's own or with lipstick. Dip your finger in some and spread it over your lips. This makes them look plumper and glossed. You may not think so, but it's true!

  • Sleeping in to avoid hunger pangs

I'm certainly not saying starving yourself is the way to go, but if you have to lose wait quickly, sometimes you have no other option. By sleeping in until, say, ten or eleven, you miss breakfast. This brings you down to only having to eat two meals instead of the usual (and recommended!) three.

  • Water and Q-Tip mascara

If you're a young girl whose mother won't let her wear mascara, or if you simply ran out of it and haven't had time to buy more, then what you should do is take a Q-Tip and wet it under water (hot or cold, either way is fine). Then run it over your lashes as you would a mascara brush. Of course it isn't as efficient, but it temporarily helps lengthen lashes.

  • Make legs look longer by wearing short shorts

This is particularily for girls/women who do not have long legs. By wearing short shorts (and presumably miniskirts, although I've never tried this) your legs look much longer.

  • Hide dirty hair in a clip

Take one of those large clips and hide your dirty hair. Make your hair into a ponytail (although the use of an elastic is optional) and then secure it to your head with the clip. Since hair is pulled back and up, it hides the fact that it's dirty.

  • Ice down a zit

If you're unfortunate enough to have one of those nasty red zits that actually physically hurt, take an ice cube to it. (Put the ice cube in a plastic bag first so it doesn't melt all over you!) By doing this you numb and calm down the zit.

  • Rings helps fingers

If you have a creepily long finger, use a large bable ring to shorten it. If you have a short stubby finger, then a simple band will do. This will make the finger appear longer, but also draw attention away from that and towards the ring.

  • Bracelets help wrists

If you have thick wrists, then wear a bracelet. Bangles especially help. They hang off the wrist and make it look smaller and thinner.

Do you have easily-assessable at-home beauty tips? Let us know!

Name That Hottie!

Today's hottie is....

Eddie Cahill!

He played a small part on Friends as Rachel's assistant and love interest, Tag Jones. Now he co-stars on CSI:NY (joining Bones and Criminal Minds in the best shows category) as Don Flack, homicide cop extrodinaire - well, I added the extrodinaire part. At any rate, CSI:NY plays on Wednesdays on CBS right after Criminal Minds! And their season premiers are both on September 23rd!

But who can mention Don Flack without his best bud (and equally hot hottie) Danny Messer?

Danny Messer is portrayed by Carmine Giovinazzo, and I don't actually know what else he's been in, although apparently he was the first person to die in Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Do with that what you will!
So, what do you say? Is CSI:NY the best of the CSI-s or what? Remember - third time's a charm! This is the best spinoff by far!
<---- Cute!
Enjoy the eye candy,

A Little "Taste" Of Fabulous Fridays!

Fabulous Eats!
What are some of the best food/drinks ever?.......
  • The muffins you get at my local cafe.

They're large, chocolate-chip, and deliciously bad for you! Mmm trust me, you can't get enough of them!

  • That chocolate fudge cake you can get at Swiss Chalet

It is 2-die-4!

  • ....also, the buns that come along with your Swiss Chalet dinner.

Doesn't everyone remember stealing them off of their mother's plates when they were younger?

  • Hot chocolate with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

Ahhh yum!

  • White-and-milk chocolate "Hugs" (as opposed to "Kisses")

Love white chocolate! Love milk chocolate! Love chocolate kisses! It all works out!

  • French fries with ketchup

All I can say is.... :)

  • A banana split

Self explanatory, no?

  • Chocolate fondu

Perhaps the best of all fabulous eats!

  • Frozen yogurt from Yogen Fruz

I usually get strawberry and banana. As Yogen Fruz is practically the only place you can find in Canada that sells frozen yogurt (the only place I can find, anyway) it deserves a special mention.

  • Chocolate milkshakes from Johnny Rockets

Lucky bastards you Americans are! There is no Johnny Rockets restaurant chain in Canada....but their milkshakes are the best! (...can I swear in a blog? I don't know! o_O)

  • The gumballs out of bubblegum machines

A true pleasure!

That's all the fabulous eats for now! Hopefully this has given you a "taste" of how Fabulous Fridays are going to work!

Nichöle Jude

Coming Soon!

So here's what to expect in this blog of mine!

  • "Fabulous Fridays"

Every Friday I will post something fabulous. Such as fabulous shows, food, music, performers, books, and so forth.

  • Personal stories

Due to the fact that this is a blog, you will be subject hearing about my opinions, my life, and my activities. Sorry!

  • "Name That Hottie!"

Perhaps it isn't the most creative, but when I find a celebrity I think is cute, I will post a picture. Drool over it as you will...unless I have bad taste in how guys look, in which case, let me know!

  • "They Could Be Twins!"

As I just did with Paget Brewster and Zooey Deschanel (remember - go see 500 Days Of Summer and watch Criminal Minds!) I will show pictures of celebrities who look alike.

  • My various rantings

I'm inclined to complain and obsess over many things, mostly my sister...and the going ons of Hollywood. Once again - sorry!

Right now I'm in L-O-V-E with blogging! So, there will be many posts initially!

Nichöle Jude

They Could Be Twins!

One thing I've been noticing for a while now is how much Paget Brewster and Zooey Deschanel resemble each other.

Disagree if you want, but that's what I think.

We know Zooey Deschanel from movies such as The Happening, Yes Man, and 500 Days of Summer (which, I do say, is an amazing movie and you should go out and watch it right now). She's funny and an incredible actress...one of my favourites.

Meanwhile Paget Brewster can be seen every Wednesday night on CBS in what is in my opinion one of the best shows ever - Criminal Minds (you will be hearing more about this show, I gaurantee it). She also played a small guest role on Friends as Kathy, the woman whom both Joey and Chandler dated.

Perhaps the pictures don't do their twin-ness credit, but if you spend enough time watching their parts in films and television shows, you will see that it's true. Of course there is a nearly ten-year age gap between them, but that doesn't stop the resemblance!

What do you say? Seperated at birth?

Zooey certainly looks more like Paget than her sister Emily, who plays Dr. Temperance Brennan on what is yet another great show, Bones. (Which plays every Thursday on Fox)

What inspired me to start a blog?

I don't know. Quite frankly, I enjoy blogs. It's fun to read other people's opinions and stories about what's happened to them and what they think. And so, I figured I could do that too. I could write a blog. Granted, it probably won't be succesful.

See these words right here? I doubt anyone but myself will read them.

All the same, this is my blog, take it or leave it (no, wait! Please take it!!!). I will try to be interesting, and post frequently, but I make no promises.

Until next time,
