- The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
I've read this book three or four times now. It's fantastic. A German girl during WW2 whose family hides a Jew in their basement. Sooo crazy good. Read it! It's more than just a book about the holocaust, I promise you.
- A Song For Summer by Eva Ibbotson
Easily the best romance book ever. I've read it twice. You'll love it, and you'll love the characters. Eva Ibbotson is totally ingenius and one can simply not get enough of her novels.
- The Secret Under My Skin by Janet McNaughton
Janet McNaughton is also an extraordinary writer, and this book is utterly marvelous. Sci-fi, but more than that. Read it - I dare you.
- Hacking Harvard by Robin Wasserman
A fun read, however unrealistic. Robin Wasserman is a truly fantastic author, but this is the first book of hers I read that hasn't been in the sci-fi genre. And it rocked! The title says it all...
- The Year Of Secret Assignments by Jaclyn Moriarty
Much like her Feeling Sorry For Celia, this novel of Jaclyn Moriarty is in letter format. Funny, and with romance. I finished it in maybe two days. You won't be able to get enough of it!
